  • NDC Agents' requests (issue/void) validation via IATA Financial Gateway (IFG) API

The following new features and improvements have been implemented in this release:

IFG API 1: Payment Request (paymentAuthorize)

IFG API 1 is used to validate if given FOP and other sales conditions can be accepted for given buyer based as per the airline business rules.

For BSP-Cash validation is made if Agent is Active in corresponding country BSP, has ticketing authority of the airline, has rights to use BSP Cash form of payment at this point of time.

IFG API 3a authorizeCancel IFG API 3a is used to “void” the authorization made earlier


Starting from the 29-th of October 2021 UIA gradually enables in the NDC API flow verification of the IATA Agents' requests for Documents Issue (ETKT/EMD) and Documents Cancellation (VOID)  via the IATA Financial Gateway (IFG)  API

  • Added E-ticket refund functionality.

The following new features and improvements have been implemented in this release:

Calculation of refund is done according to the rules established by the airline itself (using the data from the 33-rd category of published fare rules, loaded by the airline especially for automated refunds).

The system supports the calculation of the refundable fare amount, taxes, fees and penalties.

The functionality applies for all types of tickets and published fares (for domestic and international routes, completely unused and partially used tickets);

Extended request/reply message structure to support refund functionality.

UIA will send the OrderChangeNotif message to Travel Agents who have subscribed to receive these messages.

Improved functionality of OrderReshop 19.2 service. Now it supports TST reprice for on-hold bookings. You do not need to create new PNR when TST Last Ticketing Date (LD) is expired.

Execute OrderReshop 19.2 with TST reprice option and new TST will be created with originally booked fares.

AirShopping 19.2

Simple Fare Family pricing option added. The reply returns homogenous fare family combinations for all passengers’ types in the query. No need to call OfferPrice service to get Fare Families for requested passenger’s types.

Query report (TJQ) - New service

The Query Report (TJQ) contains a list of all documents that were issued or refunded for a single date or date range.

The report includes:

  • total fare,
  • taxes,
  • fees,
  • commission.

TJQ report contains a list of all documents for a single date or date range issued within the last 45 days of the current sales period or of a closed sales period. Only one reporting period can be requested in the query.

ServiceList - New service

ServiceList allows requesting ANC catalogue (bags and meals) from HOST. 

ServiceList  reply includes:

  • ancillary service price,
  • description,
  • images,
  • translations into 16 languages
  • passenger associations.

OrderChange - New service

The OrderChange service supports the following operations:

  • add/delete Ancillary services in the PNR,
  • add/update DOCS and FQTV in the PNR.

OrderCancel - New service

OrderCancel service cancels PNR (XI transaction equivalent) in Host. To cancel the PNR NDC Agent should retrieve the PNR and then send an OrderCancel query which contains OrderID received in the PNR retrieve reply. OrderCancel service cancels issued and not issued PNRs. Cancelled PNRs cannot be restored via NDC services.

OrderView - Functionality extended

OrderViewRS returns "service" structure with CouponInfo section. This section appears in the OrderViewRS once the FA element is available in the PNR. CouponInfo contains information about ETKT coupon status, O@D, departure date and coupon sequence in the TKT. Data required for the CouponInfo section is stored in the TKT and EMD entities in HOST.

OrderCreate - Functionality extended

Removed mandatory DOCS validation.

The service supports adding FQTV Panorama Club and Panorama Club Corporate cards
